In a recent tweet, actress Brie Larson announced that she has officially joined the cast of Fast & Furious 10. The tweet, which depicted a laughing Larson with a happy smiling Vin Diesel, confirms that Larson will join the Fast family but doesn’t provide any additional info. Larson’s caption indicates that the details are still being kept under wraps.

The Fast & Furious franchise is no stranger to A-list stars. Eva Mendes, James Remar, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell, Helen Mirren, and John Cena are just some reputable actors to appear in the blockbuster series. Brie Larson will be joining the Fast family right before its departure; the series will reportedly end after its 11th film.

With the blockbuster franchise coming to an end, there have been several rumors about cameos and the reemergence of characters from older films. According to US Weekly, Vin Diesel has been tight-lipped about whether we can expect to see model Meadow Walker (the daughter of the late Paul Walker) in the 10th film. “I would not count anything out,” the actor tells E! “Without giving you all of the secrets of Fast 10, let’s just say nothing’s ruled out.”
So far, not much has been revealed about the upcoming Fast & Furious 10 outside of its confirmed cast and crew since the film is still in the early stages of development. According to IMDB, Director Justin Lin is slated to return to the director seat. Fast & Furious 10 will mark Lin’s 6th Fast & Furious film, making him the most popular director in the franchise. Actors Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, and Nathalie Emmanuel will reprise their roles alongside newcomers Daniella Melchior, Brie Larson, and Jason Momoa, who will reportedly play the movie’s villain.
