The new F-Search MP allows users to easily identify and quantify unknown microplastics (MP) in the environment. It consists of a complex search program and a mass spectrum library of pyrolysates. The software is used with data obtained by pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, and the analysis process is very simple and clear. F-SEARCH MP is compatible with all major GC/MS systems equipped with Frontier Lab analytical pyrolysis systems.
Use external or internal standards to automatically create calibration curves and rapid quantification for registered plastic types. The reference polymer mixture in the inorganic diluent is also included for easy weighing. F-Search MP automatically performs quantification, and the results are immediately reported to the environmental MP.
Twelve commonly used polymers are registered in the library. The software also allows users to build their own libraries.
Registered polymers: polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin), SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), polycarbonate, poly Vinyl chloride, polyurethane (MDI type), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), nylon 6 and nylon 66.
