Review-In the past few years, I have been very involved in 3D printers and design models and parts for myself. I don't have enough space for the 3D printing farm, so I often move around the printer and make room according to what I need to print and the printer I want to use. Ideally, I need a compact FDM printer to complete most of my tasks, and I need it to be easily installed on my workbench. Enter the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer! !

The Elegoo Neptune 2 FDM 3D printer has a silent motherboard, a safe power supply, resume printing and a detachable base plate. The print size is 220x220x250mm, and the printer is compatible with various consumables such as PLA, ABS, TPU, PETG, Wood, Marble, etc.

The Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer is mainly made of aluminum with a small amount of rubber and plastic parts. It does a great job. On the front is the touch screen control panel and micro SD slot.

Although the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer needs to be assembled with multiple parts, it is very easy to assemble and the instructions are easy to follow. The following photos are snapshots of my assembly process. The following is the appearance of the micro SD card when inserted into the printer:

The following video shows the accelerated timeline of one of the models I printed with the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer. This model is already on the attached micro SD card:

When I first assembled the printer, I encountered some printing difficulties. Since I have assembled many such printers and I am overconfident, I did not really use these instructions because I am overconfident in my ability to assemble them. After experiencing a lot of setbacks, because all my printing started well but failed, I decided to contact Elegoo support. Their support not only responded quickly, but also quickly pointed out a simple mistake that my overconfidence caused me to make. I am embarrassed and cannot tell what the error is, but I would say that the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer has performed perfectly since then. I use a thin card similar to a greeting card page to manually level the bed, everything else is great.

Compared to all the other 3D printers I own, the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer has a small footprint and is convenient. It is also very light and easy to assemble. It can work with very little adjustment and irritability in addition to normal bed leveling, which is also very easy. It is well-made and the printing effect is consistent. In addition, their customer service/support is great. I give it a good job! ! !
